We welcome 2015 with so much to look forward to – thank you all for supporting us and making our live shows a blast. We opened 2015 with back to back gigs in the Sebago Lakes region on 1/2 (Dena’s, Windham) and 1/3 (Old Mill Tavern, Harrison).
Highlights from the two nights included a lively “Get It Together” and “Morning Blues” from Old Mill and the breakout of “Smoke On The Water” at Dena’s that also included the great Dave DeBree on sax for the full second set.
2014 saw the release of the Brewins all original CD which can be found at the Bull Moose (South Portland, Portland, Windham and Scarborough). we are happy with the songs and will be working on a follow up this year.
We are also excited to announce that The Brewins will hold a residency at Funky Bow Brewery this year (2nd Fri each month 4-9pm, Lyman, ME). We always enjoy these shows as we are THE BREWINS… beer and music makers! We love Funky Bow brews and they have created a fun “Growler Night” each Friday with pizza, a band and their exceptional beers! Great crew and a funky time each Friday! See you there – Rte 35, Lyman, ME – all year for some dancing and fun.
Peace on you in 2015… spread the good vibes and come alive!

Such a night at Jimmy The Greek’s in Old Orchard Beach as The Brewins headlined a special night of Grateful Dead (60’s style!) psychedelia and originals. It was great meeting all of the Neo-Pranksters on their TRIP across America… The bus came by in Old Orchard Beach and we were glad to be part of the golden road party! Video of show at Youtube, Brewinsvids.
Big thanks to Zane and Further crew, Lotus Eater Films, including local support from Jimmy Greek, Bob Kelly, Haig T and the fun opening band, Mill Town Refraction. Highlights of the night included a jam with Air Guitar Guy on “Hard To Handle” and “Sissy Strut”, dancing monkeys and aliens, good vibes and family and friends grooving all night.
Setlist included “Other One”, “Dark Star Jam”, “The Eleven” and “Dancing In The Streets”, all done up 60’s style! “Perfect Order”, “Funk Them” and “Cover Your Tracks” added some original Brewins songs to the setlist. Covers also included “Gimme Some Lovin’ ” and “Young Lust”.
Do not miss this once in a lifetime chance to see the Further bus as it stops in Old Orchard Beach this Monday 9/23/2014 at Jimmy The Greek’s. The Brewins will perform a full set to support the event after Mill Town Refraction performs a set starting at 8pm. Two bands, no cover and a chance to get pics of the Further bus and meet the crew navigating the bus through the USA to never-ever land. We are planning a special set of music to celebrate the vibes and spirit of this event – the adventure continues! Email us your requests at email@example.com
