Funky Fest 1/17/15

We are so pleased to have been asked to headline the first Funky Fest at Jimmy Greek’s in Old Orchard Beach that featured the great craft ales from Funky Bow Brewery.  Show also featured Seagrass, a great local bluegrass band that collaborated with us on “Glendale Train” and “You Ain’t Going Nowhere”.  Fantastic band – check them out!

Big thanks to Jimmy Greeks (http://www.jimmygreeksopa.com/) and Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company (http://www.funkybowbeercompany.com/) for their continued support – you rock!  The Brewins will be in residence at the Friday night growler nights at Funky Bow in Lyman, ME once a month through the year (first shows are Friday 2/13 and 3/13).  This is a favorite stop for us as we are all brewers… Brewins, right?

Funky Fest featured a rare and jammy second set that looked like this:

Diamond Sky > Dark Start Jam > Deal, Smoke On The Water… too much fun!

Thanks to Scott Castle for playing shows on bass recently – a true musical professional with his Jack Cassidy style bass bombs. Always a pleasure!

Next show is Saturday 1/24 at Shawnee Peak Ski area… a return to Blizzards pub for apres ski at 4pm!  Come on out and enjoy some great food, music and get your ski on.  See you on the slopes!
